You`ll take the Bullet Train to Tsumago, nestled amidst the the Japanese alps. Here you`ll hike along forested trails before speeding through the countryside to Hiroshima. Kyoto is full of shrines, temples and gardens and is surrounded by tranquil waters. One of the most famous sights is the golden folds of the Kinkaku-ji Temple. Heading into the hills to Mt. Koya, you`ll be treated to a unique experience. Staying with monks, you`ll enjoy traditional food and learn about ancient culture at a special morning prayer ceremony - surely helping to solve the mystery of Japan`s enigmatic appeal!
