This trip has exciting and challenging treks to climb Tanzania’s two highest peaks. Venture off the beaten track; the route up the extinct volcanic cone of Mt. Meru (4,566m) is scenic and dramatic, and is the perfect acclimatisation for an attempt on the much higher Kilimanjaro (5,895m). The Machame route is considered one of the most beautiful and leads to the snow-capped summit.
