From the Pyramids to the Desert... The Pyramids have shadowed Cairo and Egypt’s desert for thousands of years, and after exploring those at Giza plus the antiquities of the Egyptian Museum, you’ll head south-west into the vast, empty Western Desert. Your journeys will be by 4WD vehicle to explore the other-worldly features of the ‘White Desert’. Then, for a taste of the nomadic life of a Bedouin tribe, you ride camels and camp at night under a brilliant star-filled sky. Luxor & Red Sea Coast You’ll see how they used to live in the desert with a visit to a medieval village, before heading to the Nile city of Luxor. Here you continue your adventures by traditional Egyptian transport with a donkey ride to the Valley of the Kings and by calesh horse-drawn carriage to Karnak Temple. Then on to the Red Sea resort of Hurghada where there’s time to relax, swim and snorkel. A final look at Cairo brings this amazing journey to an end.
